Arrive at your own peaceful mountain home tucked into Hickory Mountain next to Dupont State Forest. World class mountain biking and hiking trails consisting of stunning waterfalls and mountain views are just minutes away as well as picturesque fly-fishing and swimming locations. You'll love how quiet and peaceful the location is and appreciate the comfort and relaxation provided. Hendersonville restaurants and vineyards are a short drive in one direction and in the other Brevard and Pisgah.

Our split level home sleeps 8 comfortably and has all the amenities needed to feel like your at home while on vacation. The main level has a spacious open concept kitchen and living room with unique rustic decor utilizing reclaimed barn wood and antique pallets. Guests can sit around the large kitchen island custom built with old metal.

The living area is open with enough seating for 6 and the kitchen table seats 4. We even provide a dog bed for your pets if you decided to bring them. The TV is a smart TV with Roku. Feel free to use our amazon account for free movies and shows and login to your netflix or hulu accounts. Make sure to utilize the WiFi as cell phone service is unlikely in this location of the mountains.

Two private bedrooms and one bathroom are located down the hallway from the kitchen.

The bottom level of the home is the master suite consisting of a comfortable king bed next to a wet bar, a trundle bed with two twin beds, and a fireplace to get extra cozy in the evenings.

The house really is close to everything you want to see while you visit the area.

The house is easy to get to off of a main road. You'll cross a small bridge over Crab Creek and see the house ahead of you. There is plenty of parking and you can even park a motor home, motorcycle and/or trailer if needed. It is easy to get in and out with the driveway circling around and out.

Broc and I are available 24/7 to help with any questions, recommendations or emergencies. We live across the street from the house.

The neighborhood is a small community. All the homes are set on a few acres, so you'll have plenty of room to stretch out. As you can see from the first picture, none of the neighbors are close. We live just up the mountain.

You have access to a two car garage as well where you can pull in if the weather is bad. The garage includes a washer and dryer, a dart board and an arcade basketball game.

Pets are definitely allowed! Please let us know if you plan to bring a pet and please add a pet to your reservation. We provide a fully fenced in yard, dog bowls, dog towels and a fluffy dog bed for your fur babies. We prefer if you keep your dog(s) in a crate when you leave them at the house to prevent any unwanted damage. If you think you’ll have to leave your dog(s) for a long time, let me know! I’m a pet sitter part time. If you give me a heads up, I will gladly come by to let your dog outside, take them on a walk and/or feed them. Reach out for more details on this service that I offer.
